Gail Berrigan brings over 25 years of experience in nonprofit administration, communications, and strategic planning, with expertise in building organizational capacity and supporting sustainable initiatives in rural communities.
Operations & Finance Director
Tina Bonner
Tina rejoined CVI in March 2026 after a 4-year absence. In her current role, she oversees day-to-day financial operations, manages financial reporting, serves as Human Resources manager, and administers the Bay Restoration Fund for 6 counties in Maryland.
Restoration Ecologist/Botanist
Andy Wall
Andy Wall, restoration ecologist and botanist for CVI holds a B.S. in Ethnobotany and M.S. in Environmental Science. He has expertise in botanical identification, ecology, and environmental conservation throughout the central and southern Appalachians.
Habitat Restoration Technician
Ava Tackabury
Ava Tackabury joined CVI as a habitat restoration technician in 2026 and holds a B.S. in the allied fields of Environmental Science and Environmental Anthropology. Her experience spans microbiology, fisheries, sustainability, and riparian systems, and she brings an interdisciplinary approach to environmental work.

Shawn Hedrick
A Randolph County, WV native, Shawn Hedrick has built a career in construction and heavy equipment operation, now serving as a Habitat Restoration Specialist with CVI. He’s passionate about the outdoors, woodworking, and cheering on his kids at soccer.

Landon Bragg
Landon Bragg is a Bristol, Virginia native and Habitat Restoration Specialist with CVI since 2026. He holds a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and has a passion for wildlife conservation and being outdoors.
